Lessons In Life

1. When challenged by someone, first CLARIFY then THINK. Avoid instant action.
2. When others are wrong and use cutting words, SMILE; it’s difficult to ARGUE while smiling.
3. Words are CHEAP when spoken from an angry mouth.
4. It is difficult to INFLUENCE many people over the age of 12.
5. HELP others ONLY when THEY see a need, NOT when YOU THINK they have a need.
6. MANY will let you help them; FEW will appreciate it; FEWER yet will like you for it.
7. People are mostly interested in THEMSELVES, not OTHERS.
8. Trust FEW with little.
9. KNOW the limits of your authority and AVOID taking charge of someone else’s problems.
10. People may RESPECT you but not LIKE you – vice versa, too.
11. If you need someone who is ALWAYS LOVING, CARING, RESPECTFUL, and FAITHFUL, look to the HEAVENS.
