Twenty-four members of the Christian Women’s Fellowship (CWF) met Wednesday, the 7th of June, with Group Leader, Norma Babb, presiding. After opening with prayer, she then called for the reading of the Minutes and the Treasurer’s Report by Secretary/Treasurer, Ernie Cain.
Correspondence was read and thanks was given for assistance with the recent bereavement dinner. Shut-in cards were signed for 15 members, and inspirational memories were read by Leader Babb.
Minnie Sumner gave a “Show and tell” of her many pillows and various projects she has going to assist cancer patients and Veterans.
Norma Babb and Laura Sullivan were hosts to the salad luncheon with Shirley Padley giving the prayer for the meal.
Before dismissing with prayer, the group was reminded of our next meeting, scheduled for September 6th in the Church Parlor with Lu Lovelace and Ernie Cain hosting.
