The First Christian Church of Independence has been honored once again with yet another winner of “The Teacher of the Month” award. Our own LaDonna Erbe was awarded this prestigious honor for the month of February and is currently driving the 2017 Jeep Patriot that is hers for her use during the month of February.
La Donna has been in education for 32 years and has been school counselor for 22 of those years with Eisenhower Elementary School. In presenting the award, it was noted that this honor was established “to recognize exemplary teachers who motivate students to achieve excellence, work with others in the educational environment and maintain positive relationships with parents and students.”
La Donna and Dale are both active in serving for the benefit of our church.
