This past weekend has been a beehive of activity in our Church Kitchens, as well as in the Fellowship Hall and the Parlor.
At around 6 AM Saturday, the men came in to cook breakfast for the Disciple Men’s Fellowship breakfast. They quickly moved on to the Parlor, as the CWF women were in at 8 am to begin preparing for a planned Noon bereavement dinner. Cleanup from both events took place, and then baking for the “Chocolate Auction” began.
Early Sunday morning, preparation began for the youth fundraiser Sweetheart Dinner, followed by the Chocolate Auction. It was a busy time in our church, and there was a lot of “fancy footwork” going on to make it all work out.
