Ethel Landis and I had the privilege of handing out the Alexander Campbell Award on February 5th to Sandy Jewers for her outstanding musical contribution to our church services for over 30 years. I know the sacrifices my own mother has made as an organist at the Fredonia First Christian Church, and it is a labor of love.
Sandy is a humble servant of God and an asset to our worship services, and I know that she got votes for helping with the Christmas choir. And the surprised look on her face when she heard her name called was priceless!
