Since becoming the Treasurer for CWF last year, I have been intending to order some bank deposit slips for our group. Joan Farless always did an excellent job and kept everything up to date and in order, so trying to follow in her footsteps, I dropped by the bank and gave them an order for the deposit slips.
Promptly, in a few days, I received a call to let me know the slips were ready for me to pick up and, finally, after 3 holiday Mondays and much confusion on my part, I stopped by and was handed a huge package full of deposit slips.
I figure we use about 12 slips a year in a good year and never dreamed they would send me a 12-year supply of those booklets! I am assuming there is no charge for them as there was no invoice included in the packet.
Well, anyway Ladies, we have our work cut out for us. We should not let the bank down. We need to fill up those bank deposit slips quickly as the bank was very generous in giving us so many.
