Loyal Servants of Jesus Christ,

As we have opportunities, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.  (Galatians 6:10)

November 20 is “Consecration Sunday”, and it is always a very special day in the life of our church.  On this Sunday, we join together in community and fellowship as we gather together for the annual Thanksgiving potluck supper.  Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, bread and beverages will be provided.  We are asking each family to bring their favorite salads, vegetables, side dishes, or desserts to complete the meal.  Invite your family and friends for a fabulous time of fellowship, fun and fulfilment.

This is an opportunity for you to express your thanks and your gratitude for all the blessings you have received.  The Lord has blessed His people. (2 Chronicles 31:10)

Because of your faithful dedication and involvement with First Christian Church, we are able to support a variety of church-sponsored events and church outreach programs.  For years, this church has been touching the hearts and lives of all the people in the community of Independence, Kansas.

None of these ministries could have happened without God’s blessings.  You have been that blessing.  You are the angels who touch this church so that we can touch others for Christ.  Your gifts, your contributions, your charity and your involvement are touching others today.  We would personally like to express our gratitude and our appreciation for your support of all the ministries at First Christian Church.

Please pray diligently to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ about the ministries you do support and also about the possibilities of being involved in more ministry opportunities in the future.  In the coming months, we will be looking for your input, your thoughts and your hopes for ideas and inroads to helping others to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

May we all faithfully share our blessings and gifts with others as God has shared His blessings with us.  You shall be enriched in every way for your generosity, which will produce thanksgiving to God.  (2 Corinthians 9:11)

Rejoice evermore.  Pray without ceasing.  In every thing give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
