Last year, the HSH Board obtained their own 501c(3), so they are no longer an LLC under our church. They still depend on an ESG grant for funding, but without the home on 212 1/2 Laurel Street as an asset, they would not be able to apply for a grant for next year. Therefore, at a recent meeting, the Church Board voted to deed the house to HSH, and the property transfer has been completed. The majority of the original cost of the property was paid by an anonymous grant from a separate organization.
We congratulate HSH on their growth and will continue to support this ministry with our time, office space and other needs – and most of all, with our prayers!
