A Christmas message composed from a variety of Christmas hymns…
In the town of Bethlehem, on a cold, wintery night, there appeared a star in the East that shined forth its perfect light. The prophets long foretold of a Savior and a King who would would come to Israel, glad tidings for to bring. In a lowly manger the son of God was born. Angels sang, “Peace on Earth” on that bright Christmas morn (The Christmas Story).
How silently, how silently the wondrous gift is given. So God imparts to human hearts the blessings of heaven. No ear may hear His coming, but in this world of sin, humble souls will receive Him still, the dear Christ child enters in (O Little Town of Bethlehem).
Joy to the world, the Lord has come! Let earth its praises bring. He rules the world with truth and grace, with the glories of His righteousness and the wonders of His love as heaven and nature sing (Joy to the World!).
O come, let us adore Him this day! (O come, All Ye Faithful)
