We are blessed to have Cristine Warring acting as Interim Minister for the month of January 2016. She will be in the office most days during this time and can be reached via cell phone at (620) 249-7780 outside of normal office hours. Cristine is filling in for us while she is on break from her seminary classes at Phillips in Tulsa and will need to return to a full-time school schedule late this month. Just so you know, she will need to be at Phillips on January 13 and 14, 2016 and then her classes begin anew the week of January 25 through January 29, 2016, when she will be in the office only as time permits or as needed.
If you have not yet had the opportunity to listen to one of her messages from the pulpit, you are really missing out – she is good!
Cristine will continue to serve in her role as Associate for Youth & Children’s Ministries during this time and plans to continue in that role even after her class schedule becomes hectic. We appreciate her willingness to step in and fill this important role as we continue our search for another interim minister and then a permanent, full-time minister here at First Christian Church, Independence.
